Freight Collection Analyst

Maran Dry Management Inc., one of the world’s leading ship management companies and part of the Angelicoussis Group, is looking for a Freight Collection Analyst.

The role will be within the Freight Collection department and will focus in reviewing and submitting hire/freight and claims, as well as handling their recovery. Working knowledge/experience in the Dry Bulk sector is best suited for the position.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation and submission of hire/freight

• Preparation and submission of demurrage and non-demurrage claims (Piracy costs/Scrubber premium etc.)

• Ensuring that cases are closed in a timely manner and recovery of funds is not delayed

• Monitoring list of outstandings related to submitted claims/final hire statements

• Close cooperation with the Operations/Chartering teams

• Updating internal systems with hire/freight and claim entries

Candidate must have:

• At least 1-3 years of experience in the Shipping sector.

• Very good command of the English language.

• Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
