About the role

We’re looking for an experienced marine professional to join our Offshore Loading Operations team in Stavanger. As a Marine Advisor, you’ll be part of our specialist center supporting safe and efficient shuttle tanker offshore loading operations.

This role is ideal for a Master Mariner with shuttle tanker experience who enjoys teamwork, problem-solving, and contributing to operational excellence.

Job requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure safe and compliant shuttle field operations

  • Support and improve company standards, procedures, and best practices

  • Provide technical and regulatory advice on offshore loading operations

  • Build strong relationships with customers and partners

  • Monitor performance, identify risks, and suggest improvements

  • Take part in emergency response and incident investigations

Candidates must have

  • Certified Master Mariner

  • Around 5 years’ sea experience on Shuttle Tankers in a senior officer role

  • Solid hands-on experience with DP and Bow Loading systems

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

  • Analytical and detail-oriented, with a structured way of working

  • Ability to prioritize, solve problems, and adapt in a changing environment

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Fluent in English and Norwegian, spoken and written
