Maran Shuttle Tankers (MST) is the shuttle tanker shipping unit of the Angelicoussis Group, a global leader in energy shipping with a proud history dating back to 1947.

About the role
We are looking for a flexible Marine HR Advisor with experience from similar position within the marine/offshore industry. Your accountability as a member of the Marine HR team will be to ensure that the manning of the vessels is carried out in a safe and practical manner and to assist in providing all necessary information related to the manning operation.

Job requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Manning and employee relations of the Shuttle and Storage fleet

  • Initiate and coordinate crew changes in a timely and cost-efficient manner

  • Ensure crew competence and qualifications are according to industry regulations, i.e. STCW convention, flag state regulations, OLF requirements, customer, and Altera requirements

  • Liaise with Marine HR Training Department to ensure identified seafarer training is carried out in a timely manner

  • Liaise with other relevant departments and stakeholders to ensure the correct manning, follow-up of requirements and other crew related matters

  • Provide advice and assistance to vessel management onshore and offshore

  • Provide appropriate personnel information to F&A

  • Ensure OCS is updated

  • Act as the contact person for seafarers

  • Provide Marine HR support/service to Projects

  • Work on improving processes and procedures

  • Participate in the Ship Team emergency response team

  • Contact for “After Office Hours” for your respective team, as necessary 

Candidates must have

  • Demonstrates excellent teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills

  • Knowledge and experience from the marine/offshore industry

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to a changing environment
    Familiar with industry regulations, i.e. STCW convention, flag state regulations, OLF requirements

  • Experience with OCS

  • Fluent in English and Norwegian, both oral and written
