Operator

Maran Tankers Management Inc. one of the world’s leading tanker operators and part of the Angelicoussis Group is looking for an experienced and motivated Operator.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing and supervising Operations of the vessels assigned to her/his responsibility.

• Responsible for the operational efficiency of company vessels.

• Guidance and instructions to Masters relevant to voyage and charter party instructions, breaking warranties, cargo operations, bunkering, communications (including position and other operational reports).

• Voyage planning, estimation and analysis (at the completion of each voyage).

• Communication with Commercial, Technical, Freight Collection and other departments.

Candidate must have

• University Degree graduate in a shipping-related subject from a recognized University (STEM graduates with working experience are also welcomed to apply).

• 3-5 years of working experience as an Operator, preferably from a leading Tankers Company.

• Proficiency in the English Language (written and oral) is a firm requirement.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
