Projects Engineer

Maran Tankers Management Inc. one of the world’s leading tanker operators and part of the Angelicoussis Group is looking for an experienced and motivated Projects Engineer.

Accountabilities:

• Technical support of projects processes

• Co-operation with other technical staff

• Company adjustment in changing technical environment

• Certificates / drawings/ related studies are updated

Responsibilities:

• Participation in newbuildings / projects plan approval

• Support on review of construction plans and drawings

• Support Senior Fleet Managers and Fleet Managers during drydocking and retrofit projects

• Control of construction plans / documentation and archives

• Provide project progress reports

• Develop documentation improvement, record lessons learned for projects and contribute to engineering optimization

• Vessel attending and technical support

• Collection of Industry Technical Information

• Evaluation of technical / economic studies

• Development of procedures under the role’s area of responsibility

Candidate must have

• A university degree from an institution of higher education, recognized by all appropriate State and National Authorities.

• A minimum of two (2) years of work experience in a related field and discipline (to be determined at the time of employment)

• Proficiency in the English Language (written and oral) – this is a firm requirement.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
