Job description

Angelicoussis Group, one of the world’s leading ship management organizations is looking for an experienced and motivated SAP Functional Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP functional solutions.

  • Design, customize, configure, and test SAP modules (e.g., MM, EWM, FI, SD), following defined solution designs.

  • Participate in SAP S/4HANA implementation and support projects across the full delivery lifecycle (analysis, design, build, test, deploy, support).

  • Support functional testing activities including unit testing, system testing, integration testing, and UAT.

  • Document functional designs, configuration, test cases, and results.

  • Identify gaps, issues, and workaround solutions, and propose process or system improvements.

  • Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams (ABAP, Basis, Integration).

  • Support integrations between SAP modules and external systems in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

  • Provide go-live and post–go-live (hypercare) support.

  • Deliver user training, documentation, and ad-hoc functional support as required.

  • Monitor assigned tasks and project activities, escalating risks or issues when necessary.

Job requirements

Candidate must have

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field (Master’s/SAP certifications a plus) with proficiency in Greek & English.

  • 5+ years in SAP functional consulting, including full-cycle implementations and support projects.

  • Strong functional knowledge in at least one SAP module, with exposure to additional modules such as MM, EWM, FI, or SD.

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA environments.

  • Good understanding of integration points between SAP modules.

  • Familiarity with SAP testing methodologies and documentation standards.

  • Ability to understand end-to-end business processes from a customer perspective.

  • Proactive and autonomous with strong analytical and problem-solving ability.

  • Team-oriented and collaborative, able to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

  • Quick to diagnose issues, propose solutions, and dive into technical details when required.

  • Resilient under pressure and able to manage stress effectively.

  • Good time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
