Maran Ship Supplies Pte Ltd. is part of the Angelicoussis Group, one of the world’s leading Shipping Groups, is looking for an experienced and competent Technical Stores Sourcing Supervisor to lead and coordinate the sourcing team for cabin, deck, engine, electrical, and safety stores.

The role involves supervising procurement activities, engaging with suppliers worldwide, evaluating offers, and ensuring compliance with company standards and maritime regulations. This position requires proven leadership, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to deliver value while maintaining the highest levels of quality, safety, and reliability.

Job requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the warehouse sourcing team responsible for Cabin, Deck, Engine, Electrical, Safety, Dry and other technical stores.

  • Communicate with suppliers to obtain product information and specifications, addressing issues promptly and effectively.

  • Source goods from local and international markets that deliver the best value to the company, ensuring quality, safety, and reliability while maintaining cost efficiency.

  • Solicit, review, and evaluate quotations and tenders, selecting the best options in accordance with company policy and management directives.

  • Report on supplier non-conformities and provide data for evaluation to drive continuous improvement of procurement processes.

  • Ensure all purchasing activities are fully compliant with EU regulations, maritime standards, and company policies.

  • Analyze current procurement practices, recommending improvements through:

  • More efficient sourcing methods

  • Standardization and value analysis

  • Securing quantity discounts and cooperative purchasing initiatives

  • Oversee and support the smooth flow of procurement operations, ensuring adherence to company standards and operational needs.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned, in line with the evolving needs and structure of the Angelicoussis Group.

Candidate must have

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (Essential)

  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in purchasing (Essential)

  • Experience in a supervisory role (Essential)

  • Prior working experience in the maritime industry (Preferred)

  • Excellent command of the English language (verbal & written).

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and procurement systems

  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.

  • Ability to manage effectively in multicultural environments, respecting diverse values and norms.

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and analytical, with a focus on efficiency and results.
