Warehouse Controller

Maran Ship Supplies Pte Ltd. is part of the Angelicoussis Group, one of the world’s leading Shipping Groups. We are looking for a motivated and competent Warehouse Controller to drive implementation and handle control and management of SAP Warehouse Management System & Operations.

The role will be responsible for overseeing system configuration, supporting daily warehouse processes, training users, and ensuring accurate inventory control to enable the efficient supply of vessels.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design, configuration, functionality and development of the system and the warehouse processes associated with it.

• Administer inbound, outbound and internal warehouse activities, stock movements and inventory transactions related to the system.

• Manage the system operation and requirements, e.g., storage locations, put away & picking strategies, barcoding & labelling, materials management, inventory monitoring, stock taking & adjustments, etc.

• Assist in planning and organizing daily activities and related system operations in order to ensure proper and timely supply of the vessels, like indicatively: receiving, picking, packing, palletization, consolidation, delivery, returns, etc.

• Train and support end-users to ensure proper use of the system and the RF devices; troubleshoot and secure that the stock movements are properly captured in the system.

• Monitor system performance, identify possible enhancements, and drive development to improve efficiency of warehouse operations; prepare reports and perform data analysis for Management.

• Work closely with the Warehouse/Logistics, Purchasing and Accounting teams to coordinate cross-functional warehouse management tasks & projects. 

Candidate must have

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in a relevant field.

• Hands-on experience in Warehouse Logistics (preferably within the Maritime industry)

• Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (preferably SAP-based)

• Proficient in the use of modern technology and good understanding of business processes

• Fluency in written and spoken English

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Results-oriented with ability to work effectively in a fast pace environment
